Playing basketball on wheelchair

Marrie left a comment on my post "Consequences of a Car Crash on the Road" and wrote:

- “That's a lesson for him to learn now. Driving carefully means a lot. By the way, thanks for sharing your neighbour’s experience. I hope that he could be able to recover from the injuries he had from that accident. My thoughts and prayers go out to him.

Thank you, Marrie! I got a mail from my neighbour in the past week. And he told me:

- “I’m playing basketball sit on a wheelchair. You know that I used to play at school where we did an exceptional runner-up team in the local league. Now, although is different, because I can’t jump for a rebound, I feel good because the most important is to continue practising sport. And it gives me the necessary energy for following fighting in this hard life."

Really, he has a good improvement spirit, when the obvious is to fail in depression.

This blog is an amusing meditation about things that happen in this crazy world. Fiction and reality go hand to hand and sometimes one doesn’t know if the facts are false or true. Any resemblance that you can find here with the real world is purely coincidental or not. One thing is sure, all the content of this blog is 100% original by the author.
