From I watched Lucy movie that I was thinking if really we, human beings, use only 10% of our brain capacity. Is this a myth or a reality? What we must have clear is that we are talking about a big machine, which it might be need some kind of gym exercises to stimulate all its power.
The human brain seems able to perform tasks that cannot make any computer. A computer can only perform calculable tasks, while brain can improvise and make imaginative things, but so we created computers, because we can’t go faster calculating things as a computer do, and here lies our brain intelligence and capacity to making up things which help us to live better and faster.
The problem as Morgan Freeman says in the film is that we have more worries about “having” than “being” and I suppose that having more gadgets, which can make things faster than our brain, as a simple calculator for example, it makes our brain vague and with less desire to work; we have created mechanical slaves machines who works for us, and it is from human nature, relaxing on a hammock while others makes the job.
