Shawn left a new comment on my post "DOCTORS ARE THE ONLY ONES CAN PRESCRIBE":
“Great reminder and honestly true! Once I was having back problems while visiting my mother, mentioned it to her, and she gave me one of her pain pills trying to help. Well that evening I found myself in the E.R. feeling like my side was about to burst, but luckily some meds and an I.V. drip later... I was feeling much better.”
Dear Shawn, thank you for your comment. Totally true! You know, I have two children, so when their doctor prescribes something to them, I usually read the information pamphlet and if I consider that I have the symptoms, it is probably that I take it; after all is for kids, so it is not going to happen anything bad. But once, one of my kids was prescribed belly-ache, so the doctor gave her syrup. I thought that it was like fast-acting effervescent fruit salts and as I always have suffered of intestinal gas I took two tablespoon as the doctor prescribed my kid. So two hours after taking it, I passed all the night in the bathroom with diarrhea.
Really, don’t take drugs prescribed to the others!
