According to researchers from Ohio, women gain weight by marrying and men by divorcing.
“The effects of the change in marital status on weight clearly differ according to gender," said W. Eightown, responsible of a naturist shop on Oklahoma.
“Women gain weight because they pass the most time in the kitchen cooking, and they must taste all for conquering the heart of their husbands. In this process men doesn’t gain weight because they don’t like the manner of cooking from their wives (they always prefer their mom’s dishes) so it is for that men decide to divorce. So it is evident that when men are divorced they return at mom’s home where they eat best and it is in this moment when they start to gain weight.”
To avoid these risks, experts argue that it is important to be aware of this problem and pay attention to its weight in the transition period. Even if divorce is a great source of stress, try to keep a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and practising sport daily.
