The assignment for John Reno wasn't especially difficult to lead, but the circumstances sometimes can bring us unexpected developments and the things aren’t how one could have planned.
It was eight o’clock on a sunny Saturday morning and a lot of people was taking the highway to go to the beach and John Reno with the GPS broken didn’t know how to find an alternative to get away of the horrible traffic jam, so he decided that the stress didn’t be for him and turned on the radio searching a music station that would shake his body.
While he was dancing in the car with Britney Spears the mobile phone rang. He knew that to talk with it was forbidden but in the screen it appeared the name of his customer and maybe that the mission could take another dimension if he didn’t answer. So he answered the call:
- How are you Mr. Smith? I’m in the way to find your pet. I’m behind the thief on the A-48 way to the beach.
- Sorry Mr. John… but our cat appeared this morning. I’m so sorry but the mission is cancelled. Have a nice day!
Customers always cheat him and it was another failed mission which he wasn't going to charge – he thought while the mobile phone was stuck on his ear still and a siren was howling next to his car. A policeman was doing signals for him to stop the vehicle on the roadside.
- You know that it is forbidden to talk on the phone when one is driving, so I must fine you.
It was a journey to forget, especially when after having to stop the car by the policeman, it didn’t want to move more and he had to call the wrecker.
